BRS extended support to protesting paddy farmers in Wanaparthy demanding timely procurement. Former MLA A. Venkateshwar Reddy accused the Congress government of delays, lack of arrangements and failure to fulfil promises, alleging farmers were forced to sell produce at losses.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi extended its support to the protest by paddy farmers demanding procurement of their stocks at Shivaji Crossroads, Kothakota here on Saturday.
Former Devarakadra MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy participated in the protest.
